Google's ranking systems use Core Web Vitals, its measures of how quickly a page loads and responds. Our sites are hand-built with no page builder or plugins, so there is very little to slow them down.

Every site passes the W3C validators before launch and has a clear page title and description, so Google reads your page the way you intend.

Search data built in, not bolted on

Every site carries schema.org structured data written right into the page: your name, songs, albums, videos and upcoming events, in the format Google uses to understand a page and to show event listings in search. Many sites pay for SEO plugins or add-ons to get this. We build it in where it belongs, at no extra cost.

Most fans look you up on a phone, often right after a show or service. Every template adapts to phones, tablets and computers, and we check your site on each before it goes live.

Cloudflare sits in front of your site and filters out attacks and bad bots before they reach it. It already protects about 1 in 4 websites in the world, and the padlock (SSL) is included.

The Cloudflare services we use have no bandwidth limit, so a busy week brings more listeners, not an overage charge. Many hosts cap your storage or traffic and charge for more.

Your name, your domain

Your domain is registered in your own Hover account, and if you ever leave, we give you a copy of your site files. You are never locked in.

Songs and photos are hosted with your site; each file can be up to 25 MB, which fits a full-length song. Videos play from YouTube, so they never slow your site down.

Why Two Fish exists

Built to honor God and serve people well.

I have been a technology entrepreneur my whole life but I was also a professional musician so I personally know the struggles. Websites and technology today are a must but they shouldn't break the bank and take you away from what you love. I have met songwriters with beautiful music and ministries all held back by technology that cost too much or asked too much of them.

Two Fish Hosting is my answer. I want to put what I know to work for people whose work points toward something good, and to do it in a way that honors the One who gave me the skill in the first place.

I also believe you should know who you are giving your money to. This is why we post our values clearly here so you know what we stand for. I hope you will let us come alongside of you in your journey to make beautiful music.

    Tell us a little about who you are and what you do. We confirm your email and reach out personally.

    We send you a private link to pick your template and choose, section by section, what to keep, change or leave out. See the templates.

    Preview and send content

    You get a private preview of your design. Then you send your photos, words, songs and dates, and we build your site with them.

    Go live

    We connect your domain, check that every page passes validation, and show you on a short call how to update your dates, videos and photos yourself.

A tithe on every site.

Ten percent of every annual hosting fee goes to ministry. You don't pay anything extra. It comes out of our share, and you decide which ministry receives it.

  1. You choose the ministry

    Name your home church, a ministry you love, or pick one from our list. You can change it at each renewal.

  2. We send the gift

    We give once a year, in the name of Two Fish customers, to every ministry our customers have chosen.

  3. We report it openly

    Each year we publish how much we gave and which ministries received it.

Gifts go to registered churches, ministries and nonprofits. Because Two Fish Hosting makes the gift, it is not tax-deductible for you.

Do I have to be a musician or a ministry?

No. We built Two Fish with Christian artists and ministries in mind, and we welcome any business or nonprofit that wants a simple, affordable site.

Who owns my domain?

You do. Your domain is registered in your own Hover account, in your name, and we help you choose one if you need it. Two Fish never holds it, so if you ever leave, it goes with you, and we hand you a copy of your site files.

Can I use a domain I already own?

Yes. You make one guided change where your domain is registered, pointing it to us, and a short video walks you through it. We take care of the rest, including the security certificate.

Will my site show up on Google?

Every site ships with clean, validated code, page titles and descriptions, a sitemap and fast load times. Those are the foundations search engines look for. We will gladly run a speed test on your current site so you can compare.

I'm not technical. Can you build it for me?

Yes. Choose a template, tell us what to change, and we build your site for you. Afterward, you can add show dates, videos and photos yourself in a simple editor, with no code. Or send them to us and we make the changes.

How does the giving work?

A tithe of every hosting fee goes to ministries that serve others with a Christ-centered message. We ask you to point us to the ministry you love. It comes out of our share, not on top of your price, and we publish a giving report every year.

Can I perform on Song Devotions?

Two Fish customers can ask to be considered for a session on Song Devotions, a ministry that films Christian songwriters in Jacksonville, Florida performing an original song that answers a hard faith question, along with a short interview. Sessions are by invitation, and each one gets its own video and episode page that links back to your website. Tick the Song Devotions box when you join the beta and we will send you the details.
